Phaedra Parks may be down, but do not entirely count her out. Rumor has it that former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member may be trying to engineer her own series based on the concept of an arbitration show based on reality court television, which she originally pushed for as far back as 2013 (can anyone say, Judge Judy?). Past reports claim the series would have been built around Parks’ career as an attorney to the wealthy and the famous. Doubtless, it would have had the 44-year-old riding to the rescue of her affluent clients as a possible representative or mediator. Apparently, the plans to move forward with the show were initially shelved once then-husband Apollo Nida had his latest fall from grace in the form of convictions and an incarceration for the crimes of fraud, identity theft, and more. Some folks never learn.
To make matters worse for Parks, she was dismissed from RHOA after the uproar that arose following her accusations that fellow cast member Kandi Burruss tried to drug and assault co-star Porsha Williams. Not allegations one should throw around lightly, as Parks should well-know being a lawyer.
However, the multi-talented minor celebrity has been busy making use of her time by becoming involved in the community and other charitable work, including using her profession as a lawyer to help others free-of-charge. There has also been gossip swirling that Parks has been seeing American actor and model Shemar Moore, although Moore has subsequently denied this claiming he barely knows Parks. This despite a cozy picture of the two finding its way to Parks Instagram account.
Where Parks eventually lands, whether we will ever see her on our television or computer screens again remains to be seen. In the meantime, Bravo has continued to fill their star slots with other Real Housewives of Atlanta castings, such as with the return of NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and newcomer Eva Marcille from America’s Next Top Model.
However, one never knows, the tenacious Parks may not be quite done with her time in the limelight.
