Actress Hillary Duff is best known for her role as the title character in Disney’s Lizzy McGuire. However, she posted on Instagram that she just spent 2 weeks filming the movie The Haunting Of Sharon Tate. Duff portrayed Sharon Tate. Duff stated, “Had the incredible opportunity of playing Sharon Tate the past two weeks in an independent movie. She was an amazing woman & it was a true honor.”
“The Haunting of Sharon Tate” is a psychological horror movie that is directed by Daniel Farrands & also stars Lydia Hearst & Jonathan Bennet. The movie tells of what transpired in Tate’s final days before she was heinously murdered by some of Charles Manson’s cult members in August 1969.
Tate was married to director Roman Polanski & was 8 months pregnant at the time of her shocking death. The movie is from Tate’s point of view & is inspired by the quote she stating “she was having nightmares about ghosts haunting her house and predicted that she would be killed at the hands of a satanic cult” one year before her abominable murder.
