Anyone who has watched the Real Housewives of New Jersey since its beginning no doubt will remember Danielle Staub and the drama that accompanied her time on the show. With her return on Season 8, the drama will and has continued albeit on a more part-time basis with Staubs slightly more limited role. Perhaps Bravo wants to minimize some of the unpredictability and volatility that the 55-year-old reality show star brings. Even in the world of reality, there might be some occasional boundaries.
Staub claims to be a bit puzzled by the status of her place on RHONJ claiming during an episode of Morning Breath that “I didn’t understand. I was insulted.” However, she went on to state she felt secure in the knowledge that “Bravo always knows what they’re doing, and so do the producers. I trust them immensely.”
Staub also addresses her feelings about fellow co-star Margaret Josephs with the latter’s full-time role initially causing some feelings of jealousy. That was soon put to rest, however, with the newcomer’s mention of “pot puss” which caused Staub to warm up to her immediately. Now Staub’s claims that Josephs is her “spirit animal” and that the two talk “multiple times a day.” “I’ve become addicted to her.”
Danielle also mentions her close friendship with her one-time nemesis Teresa Giudice, going so far as to assert that if a person is friends with someone they need to accept that individuals other friends as well. Those are interesting words in light of Staub’s onscreen conflict with Giudice’s friend Dolores Catania.
With the re-entrance of Staubs to RHONJ, will we see her two daughters, Christine (23) and Jillian (19)? According to Staub, viewers will see the younger of her children, but Christine is “still feeling it out” after the traumatic first few seasons. Their mother was understandably gushing about her daughters, and from all appearances, the girls seem to be doing well with attending college and developing relationships of their own. Doubtless, we will know more as the show progresses.
Stay tuned, folks!
